I am really not good at describing myself, but I will try. I am a motivated person who also loves to laugh and to have fun. I try to make the most of the day that God has given me. I am very thankful for my family and friends. After all, those are who will stand with you (or hold you) no matter what. I love roller coasters, hot air balloons, riding motorcycles, (I do have my motorcycle license) and animals. I really need to have a partner that will not mind going to church with me because I need God to be a priority, (I went by myself before). My hobbies include: writing poetry, gardening, riding motorcycles, antique window shopping and spoiling my 3 grandkids (one other on the way). I am looking for a man who will respect me for who I am, what I am and what I believe in; someone to share life during good and bad times. Life is always going to throw "bad times" at us, but it is how we handle problems and approach them that makes all the difference in its final impact on our lives. I try to stay positive and find the glass half full. My future goals are to write a book of my own poetry, (I have published poetry in anthologies), and get published and possibly finish up on my Master's degree. I believe in hard work and I am not afraid to try new things within reason because my philosophy is, "you don't know you can do something until you try it and even if you fail at it, you still learn something." I have begun working out again just recently because I stopped in order to go back to school and did gain weight (not liking it at all). I try to eat healthy and take care of myself. My friends tell me that I am a caring person and that anyone would be lucky to have me. I am a very faithful person to those in my life. I love my work because I work in a hospital laboratory and I run the tests that the docs order for their patients. I love the feeling of having helped in the process of diagnosing someone and helping them to get better. The invisible world that surrounds us just amazes me every time I look into a microscope! I hope that I am not judged by my picture alone (I do not like taking photos) and that you at least meet me and talk to me. I am not in this for just a single date, sex or a one night stand. I am looking for that special person to live the rest of my life with. I also do not date married men, I find that very offensive.
