I am a genuinely happy person, don't have issues with what people that I don't know think about me. I love being outdoors whatever it is, I am doing. My children are everything to me. I am a father first and foremost to two beautiful little boys ages 9 and 6. I strive to be the best person I can, so they can learn to be the same way. I have two tatoos that I gave myself as a gift, when I divorced and graduated nursing school. My tats have meaning and I am trying to figure out my next one(they are addictive). If I can't come up with something that has meaning I will not get one. Right shoulder is a blue eyed, blond haired boy angel with my boys' names, left shoulder is a tribal cross. Meaning in each should be self explanatory.
I have been divorced going on a year, after being married 14 years, and I still trying to figuring out the dating scene. This all twenty years after I started the dating process, and it has changed tremendously. It is whole new world out there. The divorce was a mutual decision, and we have a cordial relationship for the benefit of the children. We got married to young. Now, I am looking forward to starting my life over as an adult, and make the most out of all the experiences in my life. Live and learn, as THEY say. By the way, when someone figures out who "THEY" are, let me know.
My hobbies are wide ranging from being outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding 4 wheelers, to researching new things I learn at work. I am open to new interest and welcome the opportunity to learn new things on a daily basis. If I don't learn something or do something new, my day is not complete.
My goals/aspirations in life are simple. I want to wake up everyday and do the best I can at whatever I do, and succeed at it. I returned to college at 33 years old to obtain a Bachelors degree in Nursing. I graduated December of last year, and now I am considering the pursuit of a Masters in my chosen field. I love nursing, and have so many options as far as furthering my Education and broadening my career options it is hard to decide.
I think what makes me unique is I am honest and happy with who I am. I have my days like everyone else, but life is to short to be worried about who I am not. I am not a player and have no aspirations to be. I like the idea of being with that someone special and giving them my undivided attention and devotion. Although, I do have a touch of flirt in me with a side of BS, but I am a one woman man and don't wanta be anything else. I respect women and think they all deserve my respect until they prove otherwise.
I enjoy cuddling on the couch, grilling out with friends while having a cold beer, going to a movie, a concert, or to the grocery store as long as it is with that special someone. I miss that kind of friendship/relationship.

What would I do on a first date? This is a good question. I think a nice quiet dinner somewhere nice or at the Waffle House would be good. Conversation and eye contact are a must for me. I like to see a person's expressions in a conversation. The eyes do not lie. I think after dinner, having an open mind, as to what to do is a mutual decision the two participants should decide together. A cozy bar for more conversation, a nice walk in a park or down the block, a club for some dancing, a movie for time to think about the earlier events, or just about anything the two agree upon. I think the choice that is decided on, tells both participants about what the potential is for future dates. Conversation is the key for me.
