OK - here goes. I would describe myself as an honest, loving, sincere guy that likes to work hard, but also have fun. I love to joke around because after all without laughter in a person's life, what is there to look forward to? I can also be serious when the situation calls for it. I am devoted, especially to friends and family. I am head over heels for my favorite niece and nephew and look forward to having my own family and children someday after I meet the right woman.

I have strong family values, and believe in always being a gentleman. I have always opened doors for ladies, and am a bit of a romantic at heart. I believe in giving flowers for no reason, and go out of my way to do special things for the people I care about. I am not into playing games and do not want them to be played on me. I am looking for someone that I can make the center of my universe, and will do the same for me while experiencing life by my side.

I am very handy and can tackle most any home improvement project myself. I've remodeled a bathroom in my house, pulled up all the carpeting and put down laminate flooring, and many other projects. There is also nothing on a car that I can't fix, I was a mechanic before changing careers.

I enjoy all kinds of music, from Linkin Park to country and most everything in between. I enjoy going to the movies, especially the drive-in theater. I also like trying new restaurants, or going to see a band play at a local venue. I like to cook food, and am pretty good at it, but grilling outside in summer is the best.

On the weekends I like to cook, go to the movies - especially the drive in, going for a nice drive out to the middle of nowhere for ice cream every now and then is fun, going fishing, or trying a new restaurant.


my religion:
I would like that special someone to have faith. I believe in God, but I'm far from a religious nut. I would just like to find someone that believes in God and attends church, maybe not every week - but once in a while.


favorite things:
Here lately I've been listening to a lot of alternative music (101. 1), but some if it is a little too out there for me. I listen to a little bit of everything really, except rap. I enjoy Better Off Ted, The Simpsons, Seinfield re-runs, and Lost.

For a first date I prefer to keep it simple, something that will allow conversation to happen. Going out for a cup of coffee or a drink I think works best. If things go well we can take it from there.
