I go with the flow for the most part, however, there are a variety of issues that I can be extremely opinionated on. (I choose my battles wisely!)I love to have a good time, and although I know when to be serious, I have no problem making the occasional ass of myself as well (within reason and around those I know well).

Hmmm... What else can I tell you about myself? Being active and having a healthy lifestyle is really important to me, and I am definitely looking for someone who has similar interests and priorities. If you are the type of person who is content sitting on the couch nonstop, then save both you and I the effort and don't bother! :)

You may be interested to know that I used to be on the Canadian National Development Team for Flatwater Sprint Kayaking. Although I am not necessarily looking for someone seriously athletic, I am looking for someone who is determined, intelligent, and motivated to achieve great things in whatever her forte may be!

Hope for the best, but expect the worst..... Just kidding!!! In terms of a first date, I see it as a way to find out if there will be a second date. I don't have any expectations, and I really just want to get to know someone a little better. All too often the word "DATE" can be an extremely loaded word, and it can carry all kinds of expectations on both sides. Dating shouldn't be such a serious thing (at least initially). I just want to find someone who can be relaxed and have a good time.

Furthermore, I don't mind the occasional emails back and forth, but I am not willing to engage in a chronic email extravaganza. If you are interested (at least initially) then show that by sending me your number, or agreeing to go out for a drink or something (no pressure... I promise). After all, if the Ministry of Education trusts a teacher like me to be around kids, then maybe you could too!!! :)

I lose interest extremely quickly if you are just into playing games, and I have very good interpersonal skills, so I will catch on in an extremely short period time and move on.

If, however, you are a no B.S. type of woman willing to take a chance on something that could potentially be great, then I encourage you to step up to the plate and "take a swing"!
