Hi! I'm a 48 y/o gentleman who is intelligent, hard working, and romantic. I consider myself to be a family man. I like spending time with my 13 y/o son. We sometimes bike ride together, campout with the boyscouts together, go fishing, and other activities. I only see him every other weekend, so my time with him is special to me.
I also like to try new and different restaurants at least once a month. I frequent old restaurants often too. On weekend afternoons, I like to go to CC's coffeehouse and enjoy a Mochasippy or just a plain cup of joe, especially with friends. I like to travel cross country, but I can also just go to New Orleans or Houston for the weekend. Aspirations??? Hmmmm..... Although I'm only 48, I am planning on retiring when I am 54 or 55. Sooner, if I can afford it. I want to be able to enjoy my retirement. One day I want to go on a cruise. One day I will, hopefully with a new friend. I am definitely an optimist. I ALWAYS think the glass is half full. I try to be a positive person everyday.

First date??? I think the best course of action would be to first meet at a neutral location over coffee. If this first meeting goes well for BOTH of us, then we can plan on a real first date, such as dinner and a movie. (I'm not into the bar scene.)
