I am a teacher in a private setting. I work with special education students and love it. They are a challenge but the parents and the students responses to what we do makes it worthwhile. I hope to continue to become more educated and work towards my PhD. I want to coach college athletics and have a family with a pet or two.

I have a lot to share with someone. I am willing to learn about new things and their interests that I have never taken on. I need to feel affection and give it back. I am an independent person, but love to spend time with the person I am dating. I feel that I am mature for my age due to my family upbringing, and with that maturity comes a lot of other family values. Though I am out on my own, my family still means everything to me, but they know it is time to take the next step, just like they did. I am learning to cook....some success and some failures so far; maybe someone can help me to learn?

I love being funny and goofy with my friends. I will hug Christmas trees and run around with young kids and act their age, just to see them smile; it makes my day! Sometimes I become the center of the party, othertimes I will stay back and take it all in. You never know what you will learn from using your eyes! I love to watch movies of all types, scary, funny, action, suspense. I like to read random books, but I am a history buff and love to learn about American history. Would love to travel and visit historical sites.

I am in search of that person who I can call and spend time with any point of the day or night. Someone who I can count on to help me when I need it and to accept the help I will give right back.

As far as music goes I love rock, old and new. You can play anything with a beat when I'm in the mood and I will not mind. Breakin Benjamin, three days grace, incubus, korn, linkin park....etc

To me a date is about getting to know someone better. My first date would have to be something fun and a place thats allows us to talk and get to know each other better. For dinner, I would like to go to a place I haven't had a chance to try yet. I would really like to get to know what the other person has to offer, and maybe we could hit a bar and have some fun.
