I am an active and ambitious person, always trying out new things. I sew custom clothing for a living, my degree is in fashion design. I love the "vintage lifestyle", and while I definitely don't live every day as if it were the 1920's, I would if I could! An interesting (and cute) thing about me is that I am in a local dance group of glamour girls who perform 1920's and 1930's style dance routines. We wear cute chorus girl outfits (sometimes I make the costumes,) and provide glamour at parties around the bay area! I also tap dance and sing in a local choir. I enjoy sailing during the summer months, and go camping whenever I get the chance. I love the outdoors and wildlife. I am vegetarian and I love my veggies, but I still eat a fair amount of junk food. I participate in a lot of vintage themed events around the bay area, such as formal balls and historical lectures and parties. I love anything where I can sew a new party dress or costume for an event and dress up in fancy outfits! (I am not an actor, though, and I draw the line at reinactment!) I enjoy going to museums and seeing historical exhibitions, one of my favorites I just saw was the King Tut exhibit at the De Young. Oh yeah, and my profile says I'm Aries but I'm actually a Taurus. I'm born on the cusp, not sure how to make the computer realize it's wrong!

Overall I am kinda a nerd, I have to say. But I embrace it, it is just who I am! I love learning about new things, especially anything science related. I am pretty quiet, I don't go out to bars much, and I'm not a wild partier. I don't like to be around people who do drugs or smoke or drink excessively. I am a drama free person, I am super easy-going and I don't stress over the small stuff in life! So I guess I'm looking for someone who is a little nerdy, (but not socially awkward), and is up for going to different kinds of events and meeting new people! I'm definitely not looking for a casual thing, so no "friends with benefits" from me. I want to go on some dates and get to know someone, see if anything clicks between us. If not, that's okay! Eventually I am hoping to find someone who will adore me, and wants to be adored in return!

I think for a first date I might like to go to a museum, or a park and have a picnic, or go to a lake and feed ducks. (Is that weird? That sounds like fun to me!)
