Originally from eastern Canada, I moved out to Seattle 2 years ago and I have been loving it. I am very much an outdoors person, enjoying pretty much all sports, although recently I have been getting back into tennis and golf. I enjoy weekend trips to the nearby mountain ranges to either hike or, in the winter, snowboard. I have actually become a bit of a powder junkie over the last few years. I also like more leisurely activities such as long strolls along the water or in a quaint neighborhood. Walking in the falling snow is something I have always enjoyed.

My friends would probably say I am bit of a thrill-seeker. I recently tried whitewater rafting, and did a class V waterfall. I've had a couple near-death experiences, but those haven't tempered my desire for adventure. I also enjoy traveling abroad, and one day I hope to have traveled to all five continents. There's also a very different side to me that any of my close friends can vouch for. If you were to ask them, they'd say I'm a very honest and dependable person. I am also easy-going and gregarious. Back to my adventurous nature, I also like trying new activities and foods and exploring new neighborhoods, on top of traveling itself. Finally, I think of myself as being very open-minded and liberal.

In terms of music, my taste is fairly eclectic. There is very little out there that I won't listen to, but currently these are some of the artists that I am digging: M Ward, Lenka, Regina Spektor, Rise Against, Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Hitting up a happy hour at one of the great bars or restaurants in the area is the first thing that comes to mind. Alternatively, going for coffee and then a walk around Green Lake would be nice too. Subsequent dates could include activities like kayaking or canoeing around Lake Union if it's warm enough.
