The quote is from Patrick Swayze: "Love like it's the first time and dance like no one is watching." It's something I agree with whole-heartedly. I love dancing as well and you'll see me out there loving every minute of it on the dance floor. I have a serious side as well, but hey; we're not getting any younger and we should live life to its fullest! I have a wide variety of other hobbies and other interests: genealogy, science and technology, history, and if my current interests don't match yours don't be surprised if I become interested in yours as well. I think pretty much everything is of interest and if someone else is interested in something that you are not perhaps it's worth exploring why they are so intrigued by it as well. I'm very outgoing and love people and am always happy to make new friends. Can be the life of a party or the quiet friend in the corner comforting someone.

I'm not really in any rush for a serious dating relationship because, simply, I'm enjoying my life very much right now and don't feel any major need to change it. That doesn't mean that I'm a player or looking for "friends with benefits" or anything like that. To me a sexual relationship implies monogamy - and I'm just not currently in the mood for anything exclusive or committed. On the flip side I'd enjoy female companionship and someone to take to various events here and there, to email, and to talk with on the phone and if something eventually happens between us - well, that's okay too. I'm just not going to go out searching for it.
