I guess this is the part where I write something clever and intriguing to catch your attention. I'll try without sounding conceited. What makes me unique? Probably nothing. I am compassionate, caring clean cut etc.etc., probably like every other guy you have been reading about. I am not tall(5'7");dark(work outside,so I have a tan) handsome?( maybe,at least my mom thinks so and my friends say I look better than these photos; but then what are mothers and friends for.)I won't hurt your eyes and you would not be embarressed to be seen holding my hand in public. I am a little on the shy side and can be the quiet type at times because I have realized that you learn more by listening than by talking. I am a thoughtful caring and compassionate person but not a wimp. am a bit of a romantic and a little old fashion. I believe women need and should be treated like ladies. I am honest which may be a virtue or a handicap, not sure but can't help it. I believe in monagamy. I am a one woman man. Always have been and always will be. It is one of my strongest convictions. Was married to my best friend for 23 yearsuntil she passed away 15 months ago. In that time I never had a desire or reason for anyone else. I am reasonably intelligent and know when to get out of the rain(most of the time) I like cats and dogs because of their unconditionale love. No matter what happens at the end of the day they still love you, are3 waiting for you at the door and want to be petted. having grown up here on the coast I love the ocean. I find peace and relaxation there; whether on it or near it. Like to fish. I like beach music and oldies(50's 60's 70's) and depending on the mood I enjoy anything from classical to big band to John Fogerty to Jimmy Buffet. I like to shag but have not done any in a long time and wouldlike to again. I like to cook but not all the time. I am open to new things as long as they are not off the wall. See to much drama with the people I work so don't need any in my private life. The only games I play are recreational.
Now comes the important part. I am looking for someone to spend time with and share some of the things i like to do and some of the things they like to do. Someont to share a cup of coffee and conversation or a cold beer while grilling a good steak or maybe some seafood. I am looking for someone that can be there when we have bad days and share the good ones. Someone who can communicate what they think and feel. Someone who can show affectionas well as recieve it. I like to touch and be touched. I like a woman who can wear blue jeans but still knows which fork to use for the salad. I am not looking to put notches on my bed post, but am not going to kid anyone I would like intimacy. we will both know when it gets to that point.
