I’m not even sure why I’m doing this. I guess I’ve heard a friend talk about this site so much I finally decided to give it a try.

So, about me… Where to begin? It’s almost impossible for me to condense myself into one of these little things, but I don’t think anyone can. Not really anyway. I guess all I can really say is that I’m me, and if someone doesn’t like it that’s not my problem, it’s theirs.

I’m usually fairly withdrawn when I first meet someone, but once I feel comfortable I’ll talk your ear off. I tend to prefer quiet over noise, unless that noise is music… Something I have very eclectic taste in. I’ll switch back and forth between metal, country, oldies, etc. and back again. About the only music styles I don’t like are R&B, dance, and whatever passes as today’s top 40. In short, I like what I like and don’t usually care what someone else thinks about it. Same goes for movies and books. Though if I like and respect someone I won’t usually subject them to something they don’t like.

I'm currently a student, doing the online college thing, working towards a degree in the computer field. I'm not really all that far along yet, but so far so good. I enjoy school and right now it's my main focus. I waited a long time to go back to school and I am bound and determined to finish.

I love animals, especially cats. As long as it’s feline, I can pretty much guarantee I’ll love it. I live with two furballs and I love them dearly, even though I’m convinced they’re either trying to drive me crazy or plot my doom.

What else is there? Oh, I know. I’m a witch. I guess I could be technical and say that I’m an eclectic pagan that’s influenced by Wicca, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shamanism, Druidry, and Christianity, but it’s just easier to say I’m a witch. Don’t like it? That’s your problem not mine. I don’t live my spiritual life for the approval of others.

And I know the thing says I'm looking for friends, and I am. I'd like to find more with the right guy, but I firmly believe that friendship is the best place to start. Gotta have a good foundation if you want something to last after all.
I guess that’s it. I really don’t know what else to say about myself.

What would I do for a first date? I honestly couldn’t say. Movies are nice, but it’s hard to talk during a movie. Bars are nice too, but that’s usually too loud for conversation. Same goes for concerts. Then again, with the right person, conversation isn’t really necessary. You know you’ve found something good when you can just sort of shut up and enjoy being with someone without feeling the need to fill every silence with idle chatter. I guess just being with someone and seeing if there’s a connection is all that really matters.
