Maybe you can be the one to change my mind! I have yet to meet a man that understands to keep me as his own, means he needs to allow me to be free to chase my dreams. Confident and secure need only reply.

I'm the typical girl next door. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl who can turn around and slip on a little black dress. I love to laugh, but I'm not very good a telling jokes, so I hope you're funny. My friends describe me as caring, my boss says I'm driven. I like to think of myself as motivated, goal oriented, and a loyal friend.

I live a busy lifestyle that is extremely fulfilling. I absolutely LOVE my job. I work long hours not because I have to, but because I want to. If my dedication to my career is any issue for you, then you might as well reel in your line now, because I won't slow down, not anytime soon. And even though I'm interested in a committed relationship, I'm not too crazy about giving up my freedom. I suppose I've gotten comfortable living the single lifestyle. I guess the best way to describe the type of girlfriend I would be is to say I'm not the clingy type. If you're okay with only talking to me on the phone every other day, and seeing me once a week, maybe things could work out! Who knows, maybe one day I'll finally meet the right guy and him and I will stay busy and active together.

I have joint custody of my two school aged daughters; enjoy volunteering in my spare time, and love hanging out with my friends. I'm currently studying Science at the University of Windsor and work as a biologist doing West Nile prevention.

I absolutely love music and dancing, oh and dancing, oh and did I mention dancing...not a fan of country, rock or metal. I love staying active, inline skating, swimming, volleyball, camping, biking etc. I like taking my kids rock wall climbing, and going for walks after dinner. I love conversation, and I'm a good listener. Kudos to those who are able to talk about the 3 no no's (money, politics and religion), and still be able to agree to disagree. I don't watch T.V. but love to cuddle up to a good movie.

What I'm not looking for:
Casual relationships that have no potential for a future.
If, after 3 or 4 months of dating we aren't ready to make a commitment to each other, then maybe its time to call it what it is...simply a friendship. I don't consider myself to be getting old, as a matter of fact I'm really looking forward to my 32nd birthday; but I'm fishing in this pond for a reason. That being said, I hate mind games, absolutely refuse to play cat and mouse and can't stand drama. My motto in life is "say what I mean, mean what I say, and keep it real." There's no need to read between the lines when I say something.

What I am looking for:
Someone who is educated, has dreams and aspirations, and has the tenacity to achieve those goals. Someone who is equally busy and therefore won't mind that my schedule is not consistant. I'm looking for the strong, silent type. He will demonstrate strength of character, but will be modest. He should be outgoing, energenic and socialable. He should enjoy dancing, or at least be willing to take lessons. I'm a pretty serious person, but I know how to let loose, and he should too. I'm not looking for my other half, and there's no empty hole in my heart that needs filling. I'm just looking for my partner, an equal, a friend. Someone who will encourage and bring out the best in me.

I like to think of myself as a bird, and my wings have just started to sprout. My children are getting older, and 8 years from now I can't guarantee I will be living in Windsor. As soon as they are in post secondary, I won't pass up the opportunity to further my career by moving.
