Hmmm... Talk about me... OK, here goes. Straight up, I’m a funny girl. I love to laugh, and love making my friends and family laugh. Family and friends are very important to me and nothing makes me happier than doing things I know will bring a smile to the faces of people I care about. I grew up with younger brothers and finally a sister in a neighbourhood full of neighbour boys so I have always been “one of the boys.” I work with mostly men and have a great time bantering back and forth with them all day. I love camping, fishing, playing sports, watching hockey, BBQ-ing, and just hanging out having lots of laughs. I love being in the mountains, and am a total water baby so a move to BC is kind of a no-brainer for me one day. I don’t watch a lot of TV, I think reality shows are totally unrealistic, but I love movies!

I am a hot sauce, spice and garlic fanatic! My dad thinks I have a cast iron stomach. I love cooking, RARELY follow a recipe and experiment all the time. I have had several marriage proposals based on my cooking alone; sadly, most were from my girlfriends or guy friends who are already involved! LOL.

I love music! I probably have the most assorted collection on my iPod. I’m an old soul so have TONS of classic old tunes, but also lots of country, rock, metal, pretty much anything but rap. I love to sing and believe it or not, I actually CAN sing! I love concerts and campfire songs with guitars!

I was NOT a typical little girl. I did not spend a lot of time dreaming about my wedding day or what my dress would look like or flowers and white horses, etc. I think what happens every day AFTER that is what is truly important and finding someone who gives as much into a friendship/relationship as I do is all I want. Companionship, honestly, loyalty, friendship and not throwing in the towel when the going gets tough are qualities I need in a partner. Seems like a tall order these days!

I love kids. They are innocent, delightful and the funniest creatures ever! When I am totally stressed or overwhelmed with my own life, I enjoy taking my friends’ kids out and de-compressing. I don’t think I’m ready for my own yet, but in the mean time I like to spoil everyone else’s then give them back. LOL!

I am IMPERFECT and accept that you are, too. I have learned from my mistakes and will definitely make plenty more. For this, I am compassionate and non-judgemental. Everyone gets a clean slate to start out with. Maybe this approach leaves me open for hurt but I would rather that, than live my life not being able to trust others. I think I’m a bit of a romantic. Would be nice to meet someone who does the romancing for a change, lol! But honestly, it’s the little things that mean the most and I am BIG on doing little things for people.
