I typically enjoy all things outdoors when I can find the time to get there. I grew up in South Boulder on a "ranch", backing to the Greenbelt area. Summers were spent horseback riding, camping and fishing, playing with our animals or swimming in the river trying to catch tadpoles so we could watch them change into frogs. Strangely, not one of them made that transformation right there in my hands. ;o) As you can guess… yes, I was a bit of a tomboy. Emphasis on WAS here! Winters were typically reserved for skiing, horse tobogganing and making snow caramels (Yum!). These days, I still enjoy doing most of those things but do find the older I get, the more I enjoy the comforts of life too. For example, I definitely prefer a pillow-top mattress to a sleeping bag on the ground.

Passions in life include traveling, reading, photography, flying, skiing and the constant desire to learn new things. I also enjoy a wide range of other things but wouldn’t say I have perfected them. Things like playing golf, cycling (more for fun), I’m still learning how to fly-fish (somewhere in the Big Horn there is a rainbow trout with a lot of my fly’s in his belly), white water rafting… I guess I’m really game for just about anything. What do you have in mind?

As for who I’m here searching for... I'm hoping to find someone who is a hopeless romantic, who believes relationships do take work and is willing to make that effort like I am. In my mind, it is all about give and take. Please be compassionate, keenly intelligent, independent, have a great sense of humor and a clever wit, have a great sense of style and be easy to talk to. An adventurous and romantic spirit would be a definite plus! Does this sound like a lot to ask for? It’s only my short-list. ;o)

Finally, I certainly respond to emails and profiles with photos more so than any other. Don't you?
