I moved to Chicago two years ago to pursue a career in performing arts. I have a background in theatre and spend most of my time working in various positions throughout Chicago's comedy scene. I perform stand-up comedy as well as improvisation and sketch comedy throughout the city. I also work on the administrative and technical sides of the performing arts.

My day job is in the world of arts education. I definitely believe that laughter is the best medicine, and volunteer to perform comedy at the Chicago Children's Hospital.

I enjoy watching television. I'm looking forward to the next season of "Lost" and recently discovered a series called "Breaking Bad."

I love living in Chicago. I am originally from Oklahoma, so I've got a lot of small town values and sensibilities, but my aspirations are too big for anywhere but a big city. I also work part time in the summer as a city tour guide, and am constantly learning new things about Chicago. I think it's a great place to explore, full of hidden cultural and historical treasures.

I'm looking for someone who is pretty low key. I'm not big on the night club scene. What I am big on is conversation. For me, the ability to have a great conversation is the key indicator as to whether or not there is chemistry between myself and someone else. I should also mention that working in the arts is not financially lucrative. It's a labor of love, where the job is it's own reward. I can't buy you a car or a house any time soon. What I can do is make you laugh, and if that's important to you, let's talk.

I'm always up for an adventure. I spend most of my evenings in comedy clubs and theaters, so I'd like to do something that isn't related to comedy. Chicago is an incredible city with so much to offer. I'm pretty flexible, but going off the cuff, I would say I'd like to go to either a museum or zoo and discover something new about the city. Maybe we could find a great dive restaurant and have a real conversation.
