I’m originally from the SF Bay Area (East Bay) yet I’ve lived in Colorado for over a decade. Yes, I do miss the ocean….at times however I miss being able to buy a bottle of wine at a grocery store more. I’m inspired by daily life be it beauty, irony, or humor, and I’ve found there’s always a good bottle of wine or the perfect song to accompany those moments. Even though I love zipping down the slopes on my skis, taking my bicycle on a new road, or leaning my motorcycle in the corners down Hwy285 I always wear my helmet. Not all of life’s activities require protective clothing which is why you might also find me meandering through an art gallery, visiting friends, in my kitchen learning a new recipe or out on a clear night with my telescope. I’m particular about what I stick in my head so I tend to have strong opinions on things like music, film, wine, food, and books but, I’m always up for trying something new. I tend to gravitate towards creative pursuits, I view them as an essential part of life, the ability to express one’s self through a creative process is often more effective than words. I enjoy discussing/laughing about the quirky irony that life often delivers rather than the typical humor pop-culture tends to lends itself. I have an artistic view of the world and life, and I love a good conversation even when I may disagree with someone else’s point of view. I’m not seeking a Juliet (Buttercup) to my Romeo (Wesley) (I fear romance died when the txt "I'll meet you at Starbucks" was first sent), more of an Ellen to my Pete (Cheers! if you get that reference), someone to hang out with and share ideas.

I'm not sure what a first date should include. I only know that all of the really interesting events between two people seem to occur when they attempt to mask their attraction to one another.
