I bought a house about a year ago and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with it. It has a large yard that was originally landscaped in 1973 and the former owners obviously travelled and collected rocks as souvenirs. I admit there are some pretty specimens, but they’re all over in the many odd-placed gardens. It is now my turn to collect rocks - the ones in the gardens. Hopefully I can figure out something useful to do with them, because they’re piling up quite quickly.

Why the story, you ask. Just an icebreaker. More for me than you; I’ve never been very good about talking about myself…

Most of my time is taken up with work and school. This is my third year of working on a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. I’m almost done with my freshman year of school. My goal is to graduate the same time my youngest graduates from high school, but it appears I may have to speed it up. So, what else do I do with myself… I search my roots, listen to music (alternative/rock - Have you heard of The Living End?), watch movies, groan at the Seahawks, take a road trip or two, find points of interest (OMSI is fun), walk through Lowe’s and try to envision what my house could look like if only I had the money, and if it’s there, soak up the sun.
