My kids are grown and on their own (most of the time) and I just realized its time for me! I have been on my own for a long time and promised myself I would not get involved with anyone again. What I want is a friend or friends to have fun with.I am healthy and happy. I look and act younger than my age. Guess I dont want to grow up or should I say grow old. Not into games. Love my space but miss having someone to do and go places with. I would love to travel the world if I could. I love to go on short trips SF, Lake Tahoe, ocean or eat popcorn and watch a movie at home. I would love to meet someone who makes me laugh and can act silly and not stress. I much prefer jeans over a dress. I love the outdoors for hiking with my dog but not camping, as I would rather sleep in a clean soft bed. I love exploring new places, garage sales little shops and different restaurants and people watching. I love my boxer and all other animals. I also am very family oriented. My three adult kids live near me and we are very close. I am not looking for a hunk that thinks he is all that. Been there done that. I want a real down to earth good guy. I am not perfect (younger then my age yes but sure not 30 or 40 anymore and three kids later) but everything is real about me. I am 5'5 and average build (would like to lose a few pounds and joined a gym recently). Do you sing in the shower? Would you wear a stupid looking costume at a party and have fun with it?Is my best friend and ? out there? I just noticed that my picture makes my face look distorted! Its really not!

Not the first date, but after I get to know him it would be fun to go to Lake Tahoe. Have a nice lunch and drinks (wet woodys my favorite)at the Riva (you can sit out on the deck and look at the lake, maybe gamble alittle or take a hike or bike ride or soon play in the snow. Maybe go cross country skiing. Then watch a good movie in front of a warm fireplace and get cozy. Yes that would be fun! The first date, probably meet somewhere safe and comfortable and have a glass of wine and get to know each other.
