Describe me...hmmm...well, my friends and family would say i'm an independent, strong willed, sometimes firey(although I have no idea why) redhead. I love to laugh, am a hopeless romantic and a sucker for my grandkids and kitten, Mowgli.

They say a girl usually ends up searching for a man with similiar qualities as her father. In my case I think that is true. My dad is honorable, thoughtful, kind, funny and full of wonderful stories. I only hope to find someone just like him.

I have been divorced for several years and have finished raising my children. Very happy and content with my life, minus someone special.

I'm finding myself missing all of the little things, such as that butterfly feeling...the smile that just won't go away...holding hands...the call in the middle of the day just to say hi...cooking a great meal together...romantic weekend getaways...those pet names like "babe" and "hun"...not being able to take our eyes off of each other in a crowded room...and many many more.

I'm now ready to turn the page and take on the next chapter of my life. Now that my kids are grown and doing their own thing, I believe it's time for me. One of these days I hope to be relaxing on the back porch, candles lit, watching the sun disappear into the waters of the Outer Banks with someone very special...could that be you?
