The slightly odd things, such as: quoting Dave Chappelle during a Rick James song, or keeping last years calendar up because the pictures are good, or remembering chocolate but forgetting a hat on a kayaking trip, or not finding the salsa jar at eye level in the refrigerator, or sometimes using a red cloth Trader Joes bag like a man-purse. Interactions in person are so much better.

- music > gotta have it (the Rolling Stones/Neil Young/Bob Dylan have the right idea)
- Sears tool section > a great date destination. No, really.
- anything that sounds like a weedeater > no way
- reading > I can’t get enough Orion Magazine (Bill McKibben/Ron Paul/Richard Dawkins/Gore Vidal are great)
- fast typer > apparently not
- tv watching > when is the 3rd season of Whale Wars being released?
- pets > if only my work schedule would allow (I miss having a dog or two around)
- sports > not for me
