About Me
I am a 34 year old male who recently just ended an 11 month relationship. We just weren't right for each other. First I am looking for a friend- a nice, active woman to play sports with and just hang out and have a good time with. I hope you are into sports, because I am, and having a competitive girl to play against is a huge plus for me. If we really click as friends, I'm open to a romantic relationship- I just don't want to move too fast. I've only been single for about 3 weeks now. As you can guess by my username, I am a musician, and I love listening to and performing music. Currently I stay pretty busy playing gigs at retirement homes, where I play and sing songs from the 20's 30's and 40's. As far as other work, I am between jobs- I'm looking into working for non-profits, companies like United Way or the Peace Corps or Feed the Children. I've sent out a few resumes, so far no responses, but I'm not giving up. My dream really is to go to Africa and work for Feed the Children- I could even bring my keyboard along, and teach worship songs to the children there. I know they need lots of help, and I really want to reach out and help others in this life. If you're not helping others, you are just living for yourself, and what fun is that? Ultimately I would like to have a family with a loving and faithful wife, a woman I know I can trust with all my heart. Trust was lacking in my former relationship, and it sucks, you know, always wondering whether your partner is being truthful with you. So I want to do it right this time- and set the bar higher. I don't play games- I am straight up and will tell you what I think. I am kind and compassionate, and I love to give affection, whether it be a gentle caress, running my hands through your hair, or giving you soft kisses. I am a deeply spiritual person, and I love attending church and going to bible studies and groups. If we end up having a relationship, I would hope you would come to church with me, as I think when two people in love have God as their center, their foundation is a lot stronger, and I think their love will last through tough times. As far as my taste in music, I love all kinds. I love jazz, classical, rock, pop, reggae, trance, alternative, christian, folk, etcetera. I love writing music too, and I've composed quite a few songs over the years. Many of them have to do with relationships I've either had or dreamed of having. So I think that's about all I have to say for now- email me to find out more :)
First Date
I would, first of all, go to the store and purchase the necessary items for a picnic- with sandwiches, perhaps watermelon or strawberries, (maybe some whipped cream for the strawberries), grab a big comforter, and I would take you out to a nice grassy section in the park. We'd enjoy our lunch over a nice discussion of, who knows, whatever topics come up, current events, or life experiences, or whatever we find interesting. Then I'd grab a couple rackets from the car, and, after a while so we could let our food settle, I'd challenge you to a game of tennis. If you'd never played before, I'd teach you some basic strokes, and we could just hit the ball around a bit. After you'd gotten a bit tired ('cause I won't tire first, promise!), I would take you to my apartment in Lake Wildwood, and let you pick out a movie out of my collection of DVD's. Then we'd snuggle up on the couch and watch a good movie. Maybe I'd hold your hand part-way through, if you are giving me positive signals. After the movie, I'd drive you home, and probably give you a kiss on the cheek. After all, I don't want to move to fast. I'd wish you a fantastic day and then I'd be on my way. Hope you had a good time!
