| | I love music and singing. I sing karaoke regularly and have been told that I have a good voice. I listen to a lot of rock music, but tend to sing Motown and R'n'B mostly, although I like most styles of music. I would like to meet someone who likes music and would like to be involved in this side of my life in some way. I like live gigs and although I enjoy large gigs I don't like large crowds. I go to quite a few small gigs as I know a few local musicians and I like the atmosphere when your mates are performing.
I'm a teacher and I work teaching young children, who are struggling, how to read. I'm doing an action research project for an MA at the moment. I read a lot, both for work and for pleasure. For pleasure I tend to read a wide range of books, but I particularly like Terry Pratchett books partly because they are so different from the stuff I have to read.
I love my fanily and my pets and at present live with my son, my daughter, my daughter's fiance and three cats. My children are older, but we still do a lot together such as go to gigs and I am being my daughter's matron of honour at her wedding next year. My children have got me back into playing role play games, hence the username, and I have made a lot of costumes for them for events.
I like the countryside and am happy to take long walks watching birds and animals. I'm not religious, but I do get that feeling of awe and wonder from nature.

A first date would have to have something to do with music or animals. Live music or karaoke at a small venue with somewhere outside to sit and talk. Or animals, a walk in the park to feed the squirrels and birds would be fine, followed by coffee or lunch. It's the wrong time of the year for a picnic. |
