I’m a nurse who loves his job and likes living downtown. I’m generally pretty captivated by daily life and normally I don't like those that walk through life with this air of indifference to all the wonderful things around them. Life is pretty awesome –you shouldn’t be so blasé about something you only get to do once! I like the simple pleasures in life: The simple joy of laying next to that special someone in the morning, snapping-off icicles, frolicking in the rain, staring into a campfire, a bull’s-eye, a well-made martini, conversation, a well-timed kiss, etc… I like to have fun, make fun of myself, walk around (it’s called hiking if you’re in the woods I guess), play cards, watch movies, spend time with family, swim, and probably a thousand other things that are worth doing in life.
I'm a vegetarian and an animal lover. I love not having a car (for right now at least). Using your feet to get from point A to point B is great exercise and really relaxing. I just couldn’t see the rationale in having a car when I live, work, shop, and play all downtown! I know that must reek of “loser” to some but I am truly happy with extra money to throw around and I enjoy walking all over the place, so whatever. Plus I guess I’m doing my part for the environment. I am also quite, quite happy with the vegetarian thing too. I have been one for 10 years and that’s not going to change. If you’re not one please just understand that I do view this as something of great importance. I do plan on kicking the ol’ smoking habit someday. -Not tomorrow, but soon hopefully. What else, what else… Well, I’m growing my hair out for Locks of Love right now. I’m happy to give some little girl or boy my hair but I’m not loving it in my face. I figure a few more inches and I can cut/donate. I have 7 tattoos and that number Will be increasing.

Music/Movie: Am I supposed to say genres or examples? –NIN, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, GLU, KMFDM, Prodigy, Jane’s Addiction, Tool, Opera, 80’s…(keeps going)
Movies: Well I’m currently staring at: BeetleJuice, Better Off Dead, Poltergeist, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Nothing But Trouble, Snatch, Fight Club, Weird Science, The Exorcist, Trainspotting, High Fidelity, Bad Santa, The Ring, American Beauty, The Wedding Singer, Thank You For Smoking, Schindler’s List, Sin City, Kung Fu Hustle, and Shaun of the Dead, …but then again there’s the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th row behind there.
Obviously I put looking for “long-term” but that’s not to say I want to just jump from viewing a profile to the big M. There are several important steps that are between the two. But “Long-term” is really the eventual goal I had in mind. I'm not really looking for a buddy nor a one-night stand. I’m a fun, honest, caring, compassionate, passionate, and loving person looking for Miss Right. -I’m not a player.
I guess they say a lot of people lie on these sites. Please don’t bother with me if you’re an insincere and insecure “princess” looking for money or a father-figure or whatever. I don’t need any more with their head on crooked and teeming with negativity. I’m a nice guy who really doesn’t deserve anything less than honesty (and that’s what you’ll get from me). If you are honest and, like me, just here because finding someone in the bar scene was getting old -then message away! :)

I guess I would rather Do something rather than just sit around. So no movie, or coffee, or dinner, or anything like that. Walk through downtown? Bake cookies together for the volunteer center of greater Milwaukee? The Domes? The Museum? Nothing too fantastic and majestic on the first date –just something to do while we converse. We’ll just see where things go from there ;)
