I'm a well-balanced person with an abiding interest in almost everything. I have a sense of humor the creeps into my conversations when even I least expect it. I love to laugh and to make those around me laugh as well. I enjoy conversation, deep and frivolous, seeing new places, staring into space and absolutely anything that gives me an excuse to get outdoors. I love to travel (though I haven't done enough of that lately), cook (it's my creative outlet) and examine the ideas of others. I'm a hopeless romantic who sees the beauty of a single rose as greater than a dozen when it's delivered with feeling.

I am hoping to meet a woman who is comfortable with herself and has a positive outlook on life. I enjoy spending time with people who, like me, find the enjoyment in the most basic of pleasures….nature, comfort food, quiet times at home…and the so-called "finer things" in life…art, haute cuisine, a stunning view from a balcony. Above all else she is someone who is open to new experiences.

I'm a devoted dad and my children mean the world to me. Sharing their experiences is one of my favorite things in life. I have the wonderful opportunity to do just that while still having the time to enjoy "grown up" pursuits. Fatherhood is one of the many wonderful experiences that make me who I am. No one single part of our lives defines us exclusively and I’m looking forward to meeting someone who shares that understanding.
