After having deleted a perfectly good profile shortly after taking myself out of the dating scene several months ago, I'm starting from scratch again in many ways. I should have this updated over the next few days.

Who am I? I'm an atheist with an interest in philosophy and ethics. I like to think critically about the big old world around me and like to connect dots. I generally try not to take myself too seriously and am wide open to both admitting to and learning from my mistakes. Moving forward is crucial since you can't live your life backwards or constantly looking over your shoulder.

A perfect night in for me usually involves watching a foreign or indie film while sipping on a glass of red wine or cup of fennel seed tea or sitting back with a really good philosophy book or book of short stories (particularly sci-fi). A perfect night out usually includes one of more of the following: Sitting across a table from a good friend over dinner, a beverage and enjoying good conversation or Scrabble; taking in a documentary; going to hear some live music. I'm a vegan and I love to experiment with cooking (and friends tell me that I'm not too shabby at it).

You? You have an open and curious mind. You're available, both in terms of being emotionally available, as well as well as in terms of being uninvolved with another (i.e. you're single or divorced). You're looking to find someone to let into your life. You're able to think outside the box and enjoy doing so. You enjoy reading and learning new things.
