My motto in life can be summed up as this: Have as much fun as possible, without becoming irresponsible,.. and when you're in a committed relationship, ~"act like it"~ no matter where you are, or who isn't watching.

I'd like to find someone that enjoys outdoor activities, especially things that will keep you in motion (motorcycling,jet-skiing,bicycling,boating,roller-coasters), and I'm also pretty open to expanding my horizons, as far as things that I haven't tried yet,.. so bring it on... LOL
It would be great to have someone that will participate in outdoor sports (golf,tennis,volleyball,badminton), and a willingness to go to the gym at any time would definitely be a plus! Getting together with friends/family, grilling out and having a bonfire are things that we should enjoy in the summer,.. but in the winter, I'm a little more of the indoor type, doing things like playing racquetball, going to the theater (live production) or art galleries, then out for an evening of fine dining,.. or just staying in snuggled up on the couch at home, watching a movie and eating chocolate covered strawberries, sipping wine next to the fireplace after having a snowball fight,.. that would be great also... LOL
I luv a great time (with friends or alone) whether it's planned or spontaneous... lol, but anyone that knows me, will tell you that I'm not shy or unwilling to engage in deep or philosophical conversation's. I'm also a very stable guy, seeing that I've worked for UPS for the past 16yrs. (and yes, they do FBI background checks.. lol), and consequently, I pretty much have a recession proof position. I luv what I do (drive double-trailered semi's), so you won't hear me complaining about work, nor will I be stressed out all weekend worrying about that presentation on Monday.. lol.
I built my house in Plainfield 7yrs. ago so I could be closer to my 2 kids, but they're pretty much grown now, seeing that my oldest started college this past fall, and my youngest will graduate from H.S. in the spring. I feel that our lives are now expanding and taking on new and interesting directions that we'll be able to share with each other,.. well at least when they come around to ask for some money... jk/LOL
Well, enough of the serious stuff (I don't want to bore you, if I haven't already... lol), so, I thought that I would offer a little personal information about me, just so that you can get an idea of my "less serious" side.

I have often been described as "Jim Carey meets Arnold", but I'm not quite sure whether they mean "Arnold Schwarzenegger" or "Arnold Ziffel" (the pig on Green Acres).. lol?
As for my family, I was one of a litter of (5), and I was one that they kept. I was the (4th) out of the (5), so if you're into the "birth order" thing, that would make me the "incredibly handsome genius" (well, at least incredible anyway.. lol).
As a child I worked the "foot hills" of the Saskatchewan.... (or maybe it was Albuquerque?), I don't recall specifically because I was only 2 at the time,... but I do recall the kind neighbor who taught me how to trap armadillo's.
He was an elderly Chinese gentleman who would only speak French,... but he could only write in Spanish,.. from right to left.
Anyway,.. we traded the armadillo skins in a nearby subway, but always kept a few for ourselves,.. in order to keep warm on those blistery cold summer nights in Tia Juana.
As I grew to adulthood I moved repeatedly,.. reason being,.. I was following a group of "Carnies", because I had fallen deeply in love with the one armed Trapeze artist,.. named "Soliloquie".
We were an amazing couple, with me being 6'-7" and her being a midget, I just couldn't help being "nuts over her".
Our time together would be short however, as one day she did run off with a clown, from the circus in the next town, who happened to be a poet, but didn't really know it.
They decided to start their own act together, with her being shot out of a cannon, and the last time that I saw her, she was flying through the air with her ass on fire (must have had to much gun powder, or a bad bean burrito?... I don't know which).
After this I was devastated,.. so I moved here to Chicago and joined an order of "French Friars" that had broken away from the "Greek Orthodox" synod. I then began my work of building fine "Amish" furniture for the "homeless", and here I am today.
So, if you happen to be an accomplished trapeze artist, or enjoy being shot out of a cannon... Please let me know in advance,.. I'd appreciate it... LOL

I hope this helps in understanding me (I'm always available for an alibi.. lol), but really,... I'm just looking for a woman that "gets me",... and still wants to be with me anyway...(LOL)

Alright, if you've gotten this far, there is one explanation that I have to make, I say that I'm not a smoker, do to the fact that I don't smoke cigarettes, but I do smoke cigars. Most women that I've talked to classify them differently, but if you don't, I'd like to state that I don't smoke in my house or in my car, and I usually go to the gym after work, so I come home freshly steamed and showered. So, it's up to you whether that'd be offensive or not.

I recently took the Dr. Phil personality test, and scored a (46)~ 41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting, someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well balanced not to let it go to their head. Okay, this is funny:
Dear Tech Support: Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NASCAR 6.0, NFL 5.1 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail, in fact Husband 1.0 seemed to slow even further. What can I do? Signed: Desperate
DEAR DESPERATE: First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 12.1.
Please note that Beer 12.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring program as well as disable spell checker and voice recognition. Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will try to seize control of all your operating system resources.) In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0-program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary: Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider new software to improve performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and *Hot Lingerie 7.7. :Tech Support
