I work hard in a high stress environment and need serious down time to keep up. Now that the kids are grown and out of the house it's my turn to pursue what interests me. New experiences are welcomed and I'm looking forward to trying new things. I'm working on building up a small home based business to pave the way for a comfortable exit from the rat race in the near future. I'm told that my direct approach to life is fascinating but occasionally unsettling to men who are not accustomed to such frank responses from women. Games annoy me and I won't play. Drama is for night time TV and I won't stay in a relationship where drama rules. But if you like being friends first and keeping your options open, you will find me agreeable enough. I like watching sports on television but like attending games, races and matches to be more enjoyable. I like softball and volleyball and most other picnic and yard type games. Indoors is for firelight and good music, good company and long conversations. One thing I do very well is inspire those around me to pursue their hearts desire and it's one of my favorite things to do to check in on my friends and see how they are faring as they move towards their dreams. I'm always there to cheer you on or offer a hand...

My ideal first date would be doing your favorite thing, since the best part is learning new things about a new person. If it involves stimulating conversatin (even spirited debate)that would be nice. But a trip to the comedy club, a movie followed by a drink to hash it over sounds fun. I'm open to new ideas and look forward to hearing yours.
