Most of my time lately has been spent at work, so my "for fun" time has been after work happy hours -lol. I am generally a laid back person, and I can be anything from goofy to business minded according to the situation. I enjoy going out as much as relaxing at home. I am looking for someone who would be my best friend as well as my boyfriend; someone with whom I could watch football games, explore new places, travel, go camping, or just pall around.

What I bring to the table:
I am 31 years old, and I have a stable (although sometimes hectic) career. I have an apartment that I do not share (well, except with my 2 cats), and I am in the process of having a house built (my first, very exciting!). I said all that to explain that I have my life together...no craziness, no dependants, no drama with any living situations, and my bills are paid on time. In terms of personality, I am usually the one who likes to make others feel included and appreciated, and with good friends, am completely open. I am a "what you see is what you get" kind of person. I believe in being honest, direct (in a gentle way, unless that approach doesn't work), and faithful. In terms of temperament, I love peacefulness (no drama) and open communication.

What I am looking for:
Essentially, someone who can offer the same that I listed about myself so we can at least be on par (must have their life together, be independent, have a kind and gentle disposition, and be business minded). In addition, that special someone must (and this is big for me) be a gentleman and be dependable. For the gentleman part, yes, I do want to be treated like a lady; I would like to be with a man who opens doors, leads me into a room with his hand on the small of my back, and walks me to my car to ensure I get there safely. I understand how it can be frustrating for you guys to know what to do these days, but this is one lady who honors a chivalrous man. In terms of dependability, I believe that when you tell someone you are going to do something, you should do it (following through is just common courtesy, and I guess you could say that I am a big believer in the golden rule).

The best possible first date would be to go to a sports event; I am sure there is nothing quite like cheering on a team while drinking a nice cold beer with your man. Romantic outings are nice, but doing fun stuff together is a must!
