I am almost normal, nice, a little bit shy and sometime cynical - I am an attorney, and I both live and work in the Wall Street area. My divorce became final two years ago, and I am now ready to move on and start again.

I work very hard and take my job seriously - sometimes to a fault; Although people tell me I am funny, I have a fear of being boring. I do not like it when I have nothing to do: except for vacations, I like to keep busy both at home and at work. Vacations are the opposite: give me a palm tree and a stack of books, and I could not be happier. At this point in my life, I want to find something more - I guess I just really want to start all over again. And now that I finally can do just that, I want what I am missing, starting with the presence of another person in my life.

Most of all, I wish it was 5 years from now, and this aspect of my life was behind me. However, I am looking forward to the upcoming 5 (hopefully less) years, so that I can have lots of fun getting there.

I’m really good at being self-sufficient and surviving. Regardless of the problems and setbacks that I have experienced, I keep on going. I have to. I am also very good at putting my foot in my mouth. And the older I get, the better I have become (or else the wider my mouth is)! I try to have confidence in myself, and to be responsible and conscientious both at home and at work. I never give up, or stop in the middle of doing something. When and if I do something, I follow it through to the end, no matter what.

My interests are basic: reading, running, working and playing. I also love to do jig saw puzzles, but only of a certain type and size. Cooking is not my strong suit - I have been known to burn my fair share of things, and even to boil a pot of water dry, but I can prepare a decent meal.
