While it may sound corny, "sunny" describes my personality pretty closely: warm, upbeat, brings a smile to your face and makes you feel good inside"! I am so grateful for all the gifts I have in my life, but I believe it can be even better with the right partner! I am a confident, outgoing woman with a great sense of humor and a passion for life and love. I don't need a lot of money or material possessions to be happy, although I do have an appreciation for some of the "finer things" in life! I enjoy being outdoors, working out on a regular basis, entertaining, reading, hearing live music and having good conversations. Having grown up with 4 brothers, I'm a huge Chicago sports fan! My young adult daughter is the light of my life, and I'm fortunate to have a strong support group of family and friends. I'm told that I "light up a room" when I walk into it, but I'd let you be the judge of that!

I'd just like to add...
I'm a "one-man" woman and am not interested in any "players". Life is too short for games and drama. I love being part of a couple and have a good track record with long-term, committed relationships; am stable and quite sane....well, most days! I think you'd like my smile, my eyes and my talent of being able to make anyone feel comfortable talking to me. I'm affectionate and love to hold hands and sit close to the man in my life. What could be better than that?

A first date could be anywhere, as long as it offered the opportunity to get to know each other. I'd love to meet a man who is down-to-earth, authentic,trustworthy and who makes me laugh; a man who is comfortable with who he is, loyal to his family/friends and who enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. That often talked about "chemistry" is important to me, too, although experience and wisdom has taught me that the best chemistry is not always the immediate kind. I'd be thrilled to be with a man who, in my eyes, is absolutely darling and believes that I am one of the best things that ever happened to him!
