I love being in the country away from the concrete and noise of Dallas. I like snow and water skiing, horses, and traveling when time allows. Mountains and cold weather turn me on. I enjoy art, literature, and music. I like woodworking and carpentry. I had taken up luthiery last year (guitar building) but was sidetracked. I am now getting back into it and finishing a guitar I had started. I like to work out and keep myself in shape.

But, more importantly, I am a dependable person who has values and stability. I am supportive, caring, and attentive, but never clingy or dependent. I have dreams and goals and ambition. I am well educated but continually learning new things.

Most of all, I am an optimist. I see the world for all its possibilities and promise. I am confident in my intelligence, my career, my looks and my body; but am humble in all of them and they do not define my life. I am not ashamed of being who I am, but not so entrenched that I can't change. I try to look for the best in everyone and be a forgiving person. Though I have a good career and enjoy nice things, I have learned that material possessions are a horrible measure of character. I don't care what kind of job you do, car you drive, or where you live...what's most important to me is who you are or are not, inside. If you know yourself, if you love yourself, we will get along well. If you don't, trust me when I tell you that it shows to everyone whether you're aware of it or not.

Who am looking for? A partner of strength, confidence and courage who can handle herself in any situation; a woman, not a child, regardless of age, who can walk beside me and understand that commitment could mean occasionally putting the interests of another ahead of her own. She'll be comfortable with who she is, where she came from, rich or poor, good family or bad. She'll live right here in the moment looking forward, not attached to or dwelling on the past with pain or longings, or in a constantly dissatisfied escape of the here and now.

Ideally, my match has an energy and vitality that cannot be denied. She is spiritual, but not necessarily religious. I'm beginning to have some misgivings about this website and may not be around too much longer. I'm not certain that a site that advertises "Mail Order Russian Brides," and links to sites called "Sugger Daddie" is really my speed. First, mail order is for eBay, not a life partner, and if someone can't spell SUGAR, well, I don't know what else to say...it seems that dumba** abounds and it's found a warm, happy home on the Internet. I'd say I am about two days away from bagging this whole thing.
