Hi, I'm Colleen. I'm originally from the east coast, attended college in the midwest, and now I've decided to give west coast living a try. I've only been in Los Angeles for a year, so I have a lot of exploring left to do!

I am a third grade teacher and I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education. I'm not sure how long I'll stay teaching, but I do know that I want to stay in the field of social work/social justice. When I'm not working, I love to play a sport, read at the beach, or catch-up with good friends. I love to laugh, often at myself, haha. My idea of a perfect evening ranges from checking out a live band at the local bar, to hitting the dance floor, to staying in with some beers and an episode of Jeopardy. I love to be silly and enjoy the little things in life, but I also love a great conversation and learning new things. I've traveled a fair amount (South America has my favorite so far), but there is still so much more that I'd like to see. India and Kenya are at the top of my list.

I'm looking for an intelligent, fun-loving, open-minded, down-to-earth gentleman who knows how to treat a woman with respect. He should be interested in learning more about the world around him and himself. Laughter is a must. :-)
