I enjoy taking the bull by the horns, thats a metaphor. I love everything that is the state of Oregon, that is why I moved here from small town Iowa. I ride my bike and cycle competitively. I love going on hikes and running. I love college football and basketball, but loathe the professional versions. I enjoy tasting new wine, beer, and love coffee (a lot). I play the guitar daily and love to cook a delicious meal. A sample of my taste in music - Black Keys, Allman Brothers, Death Cab, Daft Punk ( when working out), Dead Weather, all sorts of classic rock (think Led Zepplin, Clapton).

An ideal first date for the internet dating thing would likely be coffee, wine, or a hike. Or all three. That would be perfect in this situation. I have really been looking for a companion to go hike Mt. St. Helen's. Or at least sherpa. I pay all my sherpas in beer/wine/food/thinly veiled sarcasm.
