I'm a laid back down to earth normal guy. I'm looking for an active height/weight proportional laid back woman for dating leading to a long term relationship. I keep myself in decent physical shape, although far from perfect, and would like the same in a woman. This does not mean you are rail thin or need to run marathons or be a gym rat. Personality is way more important to me than physical looks, although there needs to be some physical attraction. I still open doors for women, help them put on their jackets, and send flowers. I love cooking and I'm pretty good at also. Would love to take a gourmet cooking class to improve my skill in the kitchen.I enjoy activities from hiking, camping, back packing, picnics, water and snow skiing, remodeling projects, wine tastings to dress up events. As comfortable in a tux(I actually own one) as in hiking boots. I love traveling and have been to many countries around the world. Too many countries left and not enough time for all of them! I'm looking for a laid back woman, but focused on goals, to be my equal partner in life that shares similar interests although not necessarily all of them. I'm a one-woman man, honest, straightforward and faithful. I believe trust and honesty are essential qualities in a person. Although I'm agnostic, I have the same moral values as a Christian. My friends consider me an ethical and moral guy. Love dogs! I'm pretty eclectic on music, liking a range of jazz/blues, country, rock, pop, new age to light hip hop. My goal is to be retired in 5 years and travel the world. I do occasionally watch sports but my life doesn't revolve around it.

I prefer to meet on a first date over coffee or a drink and good conversation to get to know someone first. After that it could be a picnic in the mountains or go for a nice meal, out or I do the cooking, and maybe a good movie.
