I am an Air Force Brat. I am African American but was born in the Philippines. I have lived in Texas, California, Illinois, North Dakota(not kidding)Indiana, and Nevada,. My hobbies are singing and songwriting.(I AM IN A ROCK BAND...the "Yupnowz"(Singer, Songwriter, and auxillary percussion)I'M A RESEARCH-OHOLIC.I will be attending Pasadena City College in Spring 2010 to study e-commerce and Spanish... Taking walks along Santa Monica and Venice Beach, going to Art Walks and Farmers Market type of events, discussing current events over coffee, sports fan(Trojan Football, Dodgers Baseball, Lakers Basketball) reading (non-fiction)and going to church. Playing volleyball and some weightlifting (Not fanatical)

People say that I am articulate, witty, goofy (Woody Allen like goofy) Having an athletic physique along with being nerdy I see myself as a CLARK KENT/SUPERMAN kind of person with a sense of justice and wanting to do my part to make the world a better place. I AM A DEMOCRAT. l love the very things they say to never talk about like religion,politics, ect. I volunteer to help the homeless and those suffering.The forgotten ones.I pray for my friends, family and enemies.I do some ministry work but only at my church in Hollywood. Listen ladies, I am a bookworm. I am nerdy(I just got glasess) but very street-tough.(Yes, I can fight) Highly intelligent and respectful. I'm not Denzel Washington or Tyrone. I'm straightforward and honest. I am not a pushover. I am loyal but not co-dependent. Forgiving but not stupid either. Positive but not perfect. I wear jeans to church.

For a first date it would be a nice coffee shop like Sole in Hollywood or a cool sidewalk cafe type of place. I also want to go to a beach. I'm spontaneous enough to get close enough to the water. Anything thereafter would be a little more creative for sure but I really need to be able to open up and laugh and talk. I'm a great conversationalist but also a good listener. After some time I would locate a place where we could see some live music and hopefully a place with food.
Another option is to try out a place where we could do something fun that both of us could try like a one hour salsa lesson. It would force us to break out of our shells and get a laugh...After that spontanaity will take over....
