Where I'm at Right Now:I've recently returned from living abroad in Nepal for the past 10 months and am now helping my family to get the ball rolling at their newly opened restaurant in Delta. I've spent the last year or so doing humanitarian work and plan on continuing my adventures in various countries as soon as I've succeeded in assisting my family in multiple aspects.
A Lil' Bit About Me:I was born in Vancouver and I am half Caribbean/half Indian. I'm multi-lingual (I speak roughly 6 languages), and I am lucky enough to have family in pretty much every corner of the world! Just another excuse to travel I suppose...
I believe in living life to the fullest and making each moment a beautiful one. I love travelling and exposing myself to new cultures. I've worked really hard to get where I am in life, and I'm proud of my accomplishments. I like to give back to the world in small ways that make a big difference. I am a strong, independent individual with an easy-going personality that enjoys adventure and spontaneity.
I'm the type of person who makes my dreams a reality. I manifest my desires, and seek to attract all the good things. (Hmmmm...could you be one of them??)
Some may describe me as a free-spirited "hippie" type of girl. I meditate, practice Reiki, and do lots of yoga. I like to maintain a healthy balance in my life. I was born to party and socialize and I like to enjoy a night out on the town...occassionally those nights turn into mornings and I love watching the sunrise as I drive back home :)
I also have a geeky side. I wear glasses when I'm too lazy to put my contacts in. I am a fantastic speller (my mom used to make me read the dictionary when I was younger), and therefore spelling errors are one of my peeves. Don't be offended if I point out a spelling mistake....it probably means that I like you. I also have a thing for BIG words. If you can sprinkle in some sophisticated vocab, you'll definitely earn some brownie points!
I am a natural in business and management, but my long-term goals revolve around developing an NGO that will allow me to assist underprivilaged children in developing countries. The more I travel and open myself up to new things, the more I am exposed to the ever-growing problems in the world. In my opinion, we all need to simplify and go back to the basics. Hence, I'm living what I believe in. I am trying to "be" the changes I wish to see in the world. Shouldn't we all?
I enjoy jammin to a variety of tunage. I listen to mostly everything: Bob Marley, Ravi Shankar, Coldplay, The Beatles, Tiesto, John Legend, Deadmau5, Motown, Lupe Fiasco, Tupac, Steve Aoki, Pink Floyd, and India Arie to name a few. Yep...pretty much anything that moves my soul (or my body).
As of late, I was managing a Canadian volunteer company in Nepal and I returned on what was supposed to be a "2 week holiday," but due to family responsibilites I have decided to stay a little longer than expected to try to save my family and their businesses. Ultimately, I'd like to be out there saving the world...but I believe I should start with those nearest and dearest to my heart :)
I'm always up for having stimulating conversations and meeting like-minded individuals...if you're interested in making a new friend, drop me a line.

I'd like to think of myself as unique and extraordinary....
therefore, I'd be interested in a date that was unique and extraordinary!
(or if your stuck for ideas, a stroll in the park will suffice!)
