Greetings and thanks for stopping by. I am a widely travelled man and spend a lot of time on the 'road'. I currently work as a chef on a live-aboard dive boat in Carribean waters. I am pretty laid back and try to go with the flow.I spend most of my off time seeing new places and then spending time with family and loved ones. My people are the best part of me, my wealth!

I am a good listener and I enjoy stimulating conversation. I believe in a two way street, give and take. People do not seem to share right anymore! One can only expect from others what one gives out, but should not expect, just accept! I want someone to share with. Acceptance is my mantra!

I am an avid reader and I tend to devour books. My favorite author right now is Wilbur Smith who writes 'faction'. I am also fond of Ken Follet, Robert Ludlum, James Patterson, Stephen King(loved the Gunslinger series), Tom Robbins and a host of other authors. I guess it could be said my taste is varied!

My musical taste is varied as well but classic rock is probably my thing. As far as food, name it! Indian and Asian cuisines are probably my faves but who knows...I like it all! If there is fusion and flavor, what more do you need?

I enjoy going to museums, whether art or history. I enjoy the outdoors period. I am also found of days on the couch. I love playing horseshoes and frisbee and riding my bicycle. I love to laugh!! Playing dominoes, Scrabble, Risk, Monopoly, Clue and games of that nature are all things I enjoy, and they are the only kind of games I care to play!!

I have high standards and ideals, as well as a strong moral compass, though I must confess to being imperfect! I live up to my own standards and ideals, or at least I do my best!! I am caring and compassionate and am really a big softie, though I can be just as hard as nails! I believe that my strength lies in my genuine love of life in all of its aspects!

As I said, I spend a lot of time on boats. The lifestyle is great but it can get lonely. I meet lots of people and have many good and true friends in my life. However, I want to have one good woman to come home to. I have always felt that I was alone but not lonely and that hasn't really changed but I know there is someone out there for me. I do meet women in my travels, but I do NOT like just hooking up. I am tenderhearted and kind and want a real connection. I am not saying that I do not have history, we all do, I just know what I am looking for...someone to care about who cares about me, who I want to spend my time with to grow and experience life and all of its joys and sorrows together! Of course I realize that a month on month of schedule is not exactly conducive to my desires, but with the right woman it could be beautiful!
