My head's in the clouds and my heart's on my sleeve. I am easily bored and hellishly clumsy. Nowadays, I don't even bother with the "ooops!" when I trip. I just try to make it look cool... In brief I am:

Full of sceptical optimism.
Eager to get muddy.
A manic embroiderer (not like the stuff that Granny used to do).
A decadent cake maker.
Owned by a very demanding cat.
An avid reader.
A huge lover of nature.

Things I do best:

Mushroom hunting (not the giddy, silly, go fondle some moss kind), baking, quilt making, gardening, day dreaming, passive-aggressive absence mindedness, preserve making, tree climbing, spoonerism spouting, banding, writing, sewing, faffing with glitter glue, sticking myself to paper, sewing myself to fabric etc, etc...

All in all, I think I turned out ok. I'm glad to be me at least.

Gotta be someone special right? Aren't we all special in our own special way? Blimey. A hard one to put your finger on, but I think the basic jist is this:

I'm looking for someone warm, introspective, fun, intelligent who enjoys walks in the woods, muddy wellies, big trees, active days out and sleepless nights in and who'll tell me when my jokes are rubbish and my skirt is tucked into my knickers and won't lie that my latest cake creation is nice and then feed it to the dog. Someone who doesn't mind if i get overly enthusiastic about any given mushroom I stumble on without crushing. Someone who likes back tickles, candle lit baths, soppy poems and at least seven snuggles a day. Someone who doesn't mind if i make a fuss of them and someone who doesn't mind that I enjoy my friends also. And then, this is the deal breaker, someone who that d*mn demanding cat of mine approves! He'll only make our lives hell if he doesn't.

Update: Ideally 'he' will be close to me in age, have no children, not have photos of himself stripped to the waist (unless he happens to be hoeing the veggie patch) and not indulge in 'text speak'. Please :-)
