First off, I have my doubts about looking for someone online, and this website in general. It seems difficult to look at a picture, read a very condensed version of someone’s life and what they are looking for, and finally come up with something creative to write that will grab their attention. (What can I say, I’m no Thoreau!) But I guess I am to a point in my life where I would like to meet someone I really connect with. I’m sure just like most people on here the bars, etc, are not cutting it. So I guess I’ll jump into a little about me.

I have lived in Colorado my entire life and really like everything it has to offer and I am always amazed at the incredible places you can go within a few hours drive. I love just about anything outdoors and have spent a lot of time rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, backpacking, four wheeling, and hiking, but as I get older it seems harder and harder to find people who want to go out and do that kind of thing. It would be nice to find someone that still likes to be active and go out and have fun.

Even though I like being outdoors I am not the kind of person that has to be doing it every waking moment and am also happy to stay at home, go to a movie, concert, dinner, out to a bar with friends, brewing my own beer, or even a museum every now and again. I spend a lot of time with my friends and family and I guess for the past 8 years the most important girl in my life has been my Golden Retriever “Ruby”.

I like to think of myself as a pretty balanced person over all and am laid back and easy to get along with, even though I can be a little reserved at first. I would like to find someone who I can have fun with while trying new and exciting things...whatever that may be.

For a first date I think the more activity the better. Going hiking, playing miniature golf, or something along those lines, followed with dinner or lunch. Really anything that is fun to take off the edge of meeting someone new, while also having the opportunity to talk and get to know each other.
