I'm a single parent with one great eleven year old son. He's a great kid with a kind soul and brings happiness to all that know him. It's just been My son and I since he was less than six months old with no mother in the picture(long story-feel free to ask if your curious). In the summer months I enjoy getting out on the lake to go hit an island or do some fishing with my son once in a while. I don't get into the bar scene that much anymore but I get out here and there. I see myself as a fairly modest regular guy not too proud to admit my faults yet confident enough to achive goals. I've always tried to treat others as I would hope to be treated myself and get alot of my energy from being there for the people I care about. I enjoy good conversation over coffee/drinks/ dinner. My son means the world to me and makes me proud in all he does.
Ok-there's no area to describe the woman I'm looking for so I guess I'll just add it in here. "What are you looking for?" seems to be one of the first questions everyone asks so I figured I would briefly describe the kind of woman I hope to find myself with.

As for what I'm looking for-I'm looking for a kind hearted woman that has a positive outlook yet a realistic way of looking at things. I'm looking for a woman that can accept and grow to love my son as I would do if she were to have children. I'm looking for an attractive woman that's comfortable with her body and embraces a strong sensual side that can be spontaneous at times(thus-mutual physical and mental attraction needs to be there). I'm looking for a woman that can accept that I may not have all my ducks in a row all the time but I always mean well in the things I do. I'm looking for a woman that can enjoy the simple things life has to offer yet embrace the nicer things as they present themselves. I'm looking for a woman with a lighter side to her that can enjoy a wild night out or a wild night in . I'm looking for a woman that is truly looking for a committed long term relationship, not just friends with benefits. I'm looking for a woman that will give of herself as I would of myself in all we set our minds to. I'm looking for a woman that is open with her wants and needs and allows me to do my best to fulfill them. I am looking for a woman that understands that there will be ups and downs in a relationship and talking is always the best way to work through the tough times. And to top it all off(as if that wasn't enough), I'm looking for a woman I can give my heart to and fall in love with and her with me.

First dates are a funny animal. A combination of nerves,anticipation, and curiosity usually make for an interesting evening in itself no matter which direction it goes. I would hope to meet for coffe/drink/dinner/etc.. somewhere we are both comfortable with and just let it go from there-hoping to get to know a little bit about each other and being honest if there is chemistry or not.
