I'm laid back homebody, and like watching and taping vintage or foreign or classic or horror films, go to the theater, sit in cafes or parks and talk, give or get massages. This is in the City. In the country or Nature I like walking in forests and swimming in the ocean or lakes or rivers. Floating on a pontoon in a quiet bay, reading and writing and swimming (nude when isolated). I loved being in Africa and the desert, in little villages of warm hearted incredibly beautiful people. Country people are much more basic and essential, connected to the earth. Cambodia too was a great place, magical with rice paddies and orange robed monks but the terrors of the past and jungle temples.
My aspirations are to write a strongly constructed book, act on the great stages of the world, and to have a vibrating connection to a mate.
What makes me unique is an intuitive sense for people and siuations, a strong creative fire and force when engaged and a deep melancholy when not, an appreciation for family and friends, an ability to slip into foreign situations and be comfortable, in awe of the mysteries behind people, a vibrant love of the arts in all forms, and an ability to be quiet while still connected to a friend.
I am mostly into other ethicities....black, arab, spanish etc or even a tan Italian or Greek. I could be attracted to a white guy, but it's a smaller field of interest. Open to it, but I like an agressive guy in that case.

First date could be coffee in a little laid back bohemain coffee/tea shop, or a walk in a museum. Essentially the first date should be sitting face to face in a cafe or whatever situation that allows one to take in the other and get a sense of compatiblity and attraction.
I like a lot of music, especially good vocalists and songwriters like David Gray, Laura Nyro, Richie Havens, Jeff and Tim Buckley, Sandy Dennis and Dusty Springfield and Donovan....then off beat groups like Elbow, Birds of Tokyo and Radiohead...and world music like Brazilian, Arab and African.
