I am very recently separated and I am just looking for someone kind to help me get my confidence back which has been badly shaken. I have a job in care and consider myself a caring person. I am always there for friends who need me. I have two grown up sons who treat me like china... they are very special people.
I love the internet as it is my window on the world... I am not as keen on television although I do like a few things. Music I adore in all its forms. Depending on my mood, I can enjoy almost any music. My cd collection is quite bizarre and you will find most genres there. I am a big fan of 70's rock having been raised on Alan 'Fluff' Freeman's Saturday show. Music to me is a great memory jogger.
Goals and aspirations? Well, at this moment I am not quite sure. I thought I had that sorted but life isn't like that, is it? I guess just to be as happy as I can and hopefully eventually make someone else happy too. I don't ask for much. My family are the most important people in my life and I want to see my children happy too. I think they are...

The perfect first date would be very simple...
A nice walk along the beach, a chat... maybe a drink or even fish and chips on the beach, eating outside is so much more fun. Everything tastes just a little better. I do not like noisy places and a date in the cinema where you cannot talk is defeating the object of getting to know someone.
Possibly a quiet country pub with a roaring fire and some home cooked food. These places always have such a warm friendly atmosphere as they are generally, thankfully, free of juke boxes!
You will find I am quite shy at first but once you get to know me I am not shy at all. I value friendship and if I don't meet the man of my dreams.. I do hope to make some good and lasting friends. You can never have too many friends.
