Hi. I'm a 36 yr old basically single dad of a great 15 yr old son. I have been separated (actually moved out)for about 3 months now, but the marriage has been over for 5+ years, well that's when I started sleeping in my own room anyway. We are in mediation and divorce should be final within 6 months. I attend college 2 nights a week right now working on my degree in Environmental Sciences. I have a stable career in a very stable company and they are paying for it, how nice is that?!?!?! I quit smoking in Feb. and although gained a few pounds have never felt better. I have been volunteering for 20 years in the area fire companies and am currently the Deputy Chief in my local company. In that time I have experienced things that most can only imagine. I have never rescued a human from a fire, but did rescue a cat from 1 once. I love most things outdoors - hunting, fishing, boating, just sitting under a tree, or laying in a hammock. I've bungee jumped once, did indoor skydiving in Tennessee, and plan on Zorbing in the Spring. I have also mountain biked Snowshoe Mtn and hope to someday very soon jump out of a plane. Roller coasters rock!!!

I'm a pretty simple person, I like nice things, but am not materialistic. I'm not cheap, but appreciate my money. I prefer quality over quantity.

First dates are tough, I prefer the second or third - you can't get around them though. I like simple, dinner and drink is good with me. After the initial ice breaking - a minor league game, the zoo, something quiet and outdoors (if its not too cold).
