Hi,

I'm an intelligent, passionate woman. I have been divorced for 7 years. After my divorce I focused a lot on raising my children. They are now grown. We are still very close and I consider them my best friends. But now, I have a lot more time to focus on me or us, perhaps.

I am an open, honest, down-to-earth person and am looking for the same. Someone to explore life with -- travel, go to the movies, glaze at the stars, walk on the beach, try a new restaurant, sit by the fire with a glass of wine, go to a play or the theater or a museum, drive down a winding road -- all those things that are better when shared with a friend. I would also love to learn about your interests and explore that with you.

I enjoy my independence and must feel mutually respected -- an equal. However, I thoroughly loved being part of a couple having -- someone to tell about my day and that would tell me about theirs; someone to kiss hello and goodbye; someone that I could call to share something that just couldn't wait; someone to laugh with; someone to cry with; someone to light my fire; someone that I would consider a best friend. And yes, someone that I can grow old with. I want to be one of those old couples that still hold hands and look lovingly into each other's eyes.

I do have a quiet side. Sometimes I love nothing better then to stay home, curl up with a good book, watch a movie, cook out on the grill, take a bubble bath, dream.....

I also can get dirty. I have been known to install flooring and even install a garage door opener. I'm fairly good at putting things together like book cases. But, I am extremely good at reading instructions and finding the right screw for you when you are putting things together. LOL!!
