Hello out there! This is my first foray into internet dating so it seems a little weird to be spouting off my likes and dislikes etc.. but here goes.. I consider myself pretty down to earth and I like people who are straightforward with me. I think men who are smart and funny are sexy. I'm an animal lover and I volunteer for animal welfare when I can. My taste in music is all over the place-jazz and country are the only two genres that haven't piqued my interest yet.My vices are caffeine, crosswords, and intelligent conversation.

I'm trying to write something witty and appealing but I'm drawing a complete blank(naturally). I'm much better in person-I promise!

I hate the term first date. It conjures up memories of my younger self agonizing over what to wear, what to talk about and the fear that I will do something completely spastic. I don't ever want to go there again. So how about a conversation over coffee(FYI:coffee is mandatory but beer can be substituted upon request)and we'll take it from there?
