Well here's the part of the profile where I get to talk about myself.
Okay, lets begin this shall we.
Currently it feels like I work 24/7/365 so I've neglected most of the hobbies I enjoy. And those are...spending as much time as I can doing whatever with my kids, surfing the net, building computers, playing video games, and geez this list could go on. A quick side note; there are a lot of things I would really enjoy but was unable to do so due to my previous relationship. I would like to take up camping, hiking, bike riding, maybe some rock climbing as well as scuba diving. I'm pretty much open to try anything and everything.
I'm the type of person who does have long term goals but tend to focus on the "short term" goals first. I know what I want in the distant future and I know I'll be able to accomplish it as long as I have the right person by my side. But of course that long term goal is subject to change depending on my partners goals.
So you see, I have to focus AND accomplish the short terms goals first. My current goals are to obtain my CCNA certifications and to find you...that special someone I can share my life with.

My friends have always said that I'm the one person they can count on for almost anything. I take pride in being a faithful and loyal friend. I've always been the person people come to for help, advice, or just to be that shoulder to cry on. I look at life with an open mind and always try to take to time to appreciate the small things. I always show people the respect I would like to receive and with this I respect the opinions of others.
I firmly believe that humor, good communication, and honesty is vital for a relationship to work. I want my partner to be able to let me know when something is bothering them. I'm a big boy, so I'm pretty sure I can take it :P

My taste in music is actually quite simple...I love all music.

Well I'll be honest, I haven't been on a date in years. Going on 10 years to be exact so please keep an open mind and all ideas are subject to change depending on the season(s) and of course my date.

Before the actual date I would try to be sneaky and find out certain likes and dislikes. Yeah I know that's cheating, but oh well, I don't want the date to go bad and I'm sure she wouldn't either lol.
Anyhow, since it is a first date I would try to keep nice & relaxed yet simple.
I would like to start off somewhere comfortable and quiet so we could talk and get to know a little about each other. The most traditional way for this to happen is dinner. Where you may ask? To be honest I have no clue yet lmao. That all depends on what area we're in, and the time of the year. I would like to do something outside while it's still nice.
Then of course we could always do something else especially if it's closer to the holidays.

Okay, there are countless things I would do, but it all depends on her interests, area, and time of the year.
Basically since it is a first I would like to break the ice by going somewhere quiet and relaxed so we could talk and just get to know each other.
These are just ideas off the top of my head but after we spoke I would know her interests and what areas to look into to start planning as well.
Where ever it may be I can promise that I would try to make it as fun as possible.
