Does anyone believe in magic anymore? That spark that somehow we can't explain. I want to believe it's still out there, so I guess you could call me the eternal optimist.

I am originally from Texas, have lived internationally, and settled in TN 15 years ago. I am very social, have many great friends and am a good friend to those I call friends....I have been divorced for 1 1/2 years, I have a great life, know what I want, and refuse to settle for less...I consider myself fortunate and generally approach life with the "glass is half full" outlook. That doesn't mean my life has been an easy ride but hopefully the tough times have tested my character, made me stronger, wiser, resilient and more sure of what is really important.

I am attracted to a man who is bright, positive, interesting, funny, has his own thing "going on", open to new things, comfortable in his own skin, able to laugh at himself, a tiny bit vulnerable but not needy, honest & of good character. I respect a man who takes care of himself, is responsible and adventuresome. Someone who loves all kinds of music, loves to travel yet is content with a quiet evening at home cooking together, and watching a movie. I am looking for that special someone and my new best friend. Someone who will give as much love as they get. Someone who will appreciate the little things and love unconditionally.

I have 4 children ages 29, 25, 16 & 12. Two are grown and married and I have two adorable grandchildren that live way too far away. If your children are grown and you aren't interested in someone who still has children at home...I completely understand.

Note: While I am flattered by the interest from guys under 40, I want a partner as well as a playmate. The more we have in common, the easier it will be.
