It looks like most of the women on here must work as a Chemist...all this talk about "Chemistry" so it must be a good field to get into (lol). My "sign" is really Capricorn but they won't let me change my birthdate, and I don't believe in Astrology anyway.

I would like to make a friend for activities, sight seeing, walk & talk, movies, lounging by the water, shooting pool, doing yard work (in yours). Everyone wants "dating" or "long term", but you have to start with "friends" or "talk/e-mail" first.

Myself, I am softspoken, mellow, good at massage, have traveled so many places and done many things, but Florida is the best, I think. Latest thing is enjoying my Nutrisystem diet. If you don't like being around a dedicated dieter, better look elsewhere, as I may not be "fun" for you.

Many women hate it when I say this, but I really have to set a weight limit. It is too vague and deceptive to read descriptions that say "thin, athletic, average," etc. I do want a lady that I can physically pick up and carry (maybe over the threshold). So at this stage in my life that is a maximum of 135-140#. It ain't that "I am looking for Barbie", it's just a real-life reality. So even if you are very thin but also tall, it won't work. So please be honest with yourself and me, that is one of the things I will check on if we start meeting, if I can pick you up.

Music....let's see....I generally set the radio on "scan" while I am driving.

Something casual. I expect that we check out each others' looks, and to find common points of interest, but we don't have to be a "match" on every item. I find that attraction is based a lot on circumstances, so we should talk about where we are in terms of job/retirement, family, living situation, geography, etc. Guaranteed there will be positives and negatives in every pairing, and so there is much to be discovered on both sides, so one date won't reveal it all. We all want to avoid the horrors of past relationships gone bad, so I expect there will be some probing for those things. Don't worry, I am not married.

I agree with what many ads say, that it is not so much what we do that matters but how we are together, gellin'.

BTW, there is no such thing as a "nice quiet romantic dinner in a restaurant," so skip that idea. Restaurants are very noisy and the waitpeople never leave you in peace.

No gluttons, lushes, smokers (past or present), caffeine freaks, or free-meal panhandlers, please.
