I'm somewhat new to the area, moved here from Alaska. I love to laugh (ha ha ha ha) and it's usually less awkward if someone is laughing with me. I like to try new things, which is pretty much everything in the midwest so far. I'm really digging (yes, I said digging) this part of the US; there's so much to do and see. It would be cool to meet a nice, uncrazy guy who's up for doing so with me. I enjoy a good conversation over a glass of wine, as well as someone I can laugh with. I prefer a grown-up's company as opposed to a child's, that also applies to people who act like one or the other. I tend to be jokingly sarcastic, so if you're unable to take a joke, and instead will question, "Why are you being so mean?" we probably won't hit it off. I'm pretty low-key, try not to stress over things that are beyond my control, very open-minded, hopefully you will be likewise.

Sidenote, just wondering, what is the point of adding someone as a favorite when you have not even contacted them?

It would probably involve a quiet(ish) venue that allows for "get to know you" conversation. That probably rules out skydiving or scuba diving, but maybe dinner, drinks, a museum (I like the science ones best), zoo/aquarium, whatever. If you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it.
