I love to smile and laugh and enjoy life as much as possible. I tend to be a really big kid, so working with teens fits me really well. They're young enough that you can be crazy and goofy with them and they love it, but old enough that you can talk about the stuff that really matters and hopefully be a positive influence in their lives.

Just because I have fun doesn't mean I can't be serious though. I'm already working at completing a master's degree in Child Psychology through U of I. I can be pretty driven, and anything I set my mind to, I WILL accomplish.

My favorite movies, music, and food:
Movies- Equilibrium, Boondock Saints, Braveheart, Gladiator, The Die Hard Series, Cinderella Man, Indiana Jones Series, Tombstone, Rounders, Waiting, Just Friends, Payback, Anchorman, Ocean's 11, Ninja Turtles I & II, Dumb and Dumber, Usual Suspects, National Treasure, The Lord of the Rings Series, Grandma's Boy, Out Cold, The Italian Job, V for Vendetta, Inside Man, Zombieland, The Hangover

Music- I like just about everything. If I had to pick I tend toward the rock/ alt rock/ punk side of things with some country thrown in.

Food- Yes please! I love food. Making it, eating it. I love it all.

TV- Scrubs, House, Iron Chef America, Mythbusters, Lie to Me, Castle

I'm different.

I'm not one of the normal piece of crap guys that you've been dating since high school. I actually care. I know that relationships take effort, work, and regular maintenance. My parents raised me well, and taught me how a woman should be treated with respect. Not put up on an unreachable pedestal and worshiped; not kicked down in the dirt and abused; but by your side, respected, honored, and valued.

Personality, Loyalty, and Chemistry are probably the three most important things I'm looking for. Beauty is only skin deep, but it doesn't hurt either. I'm looking for a lady that I can have a normal conversation with but doesn't mind going off on a random tangent. She should be able to laugh at herself, have a wit at least as quick as mine, and be comfortable just being plain goofy sometimes.

I'm also looking for the girl that inspires me. That dares me to do things I never thought I could. That challenges me to take on new experiences.

I'm usually up for whatever. I'm totally cool with something traditional like drinks or coffee. I also think it'd be fun to do something a little different like mini-golf or ice skating (even though I stink). I suppose it depends on what you're interested in/ where you're comfortable. As long as there's opportunity to talk and get to know each other, I'm game.
